While writing Red Clay, Running Water I visualized scenes, like short films. Ever since then, I've wanted to do the audiobook version of John and Sarah's story to see if listening came closer to movies than reading does. What author doesn't dream of finding the perfect person to narrate the story they wrote and bring the times and people to life? The answer lies to the 'movie' question is within the person, I suppose, but for me, listening does come closer.

The scope and challenge of a single person narrating a 690-page novel, let alone a story with hundreds of characters to give voice to, requires exceptional dedication, effort, and skill, not to mention a huge creative range.
